System Configuration
The hot metal level meter is a complete measurement and control system integrating mechanical, electrical, and software control. It consists of a mechanical platform, weighing sensors, junction box, weighing instrument, weighing control cabinet, large screen, audible and visual alarm, industrial control computer, and measurement management software.
Standard configuration includes various optional external devices according to user needs, such as safety isolation transformer, voltage stabilizer, video and voice system, scale status online monitoring system, vehicle alignment system, and automatic ladle number identification system.
Working Principle
The hot metal ladle car enters the weighing area, causing deformation of the weighing sensor elastomer under gravity. The strain gauge bridge attached to the elastomer loses balance, outputting an electrical signal proportional to the weight. This signal is amplified, filtered, and converted from analog to digital by the weighing transducer. The weighing instrument sends the digital data to the PLC for processing. The weighing software on the computer reads the weighing data from the PLC and automatically saves the gross weight, tare weight, and net weight based on the tapping signal from the site.
